Who we are

Detroit Truck Body Parts, 5963 E 14 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312. Phone (586) 960-6443. Email sales1@detroittruckbodyparts.com. We are a wholesale parts distributor; this site exists to serve business customers.

What we collect

• Wholesale account application. Company name, contact name, email, phone, company website, business type, EIN, USDOT and MC numbers, fleet size, estimated monthly volume, business address, and any resale certificate or business license you upload. We also record the IP address the application was submitted from.
• Your account and orders. Login email, order and invoice history, purchase-order numbers, shipping addresses, saved trucks, and saved lists.
• Quotes and contact requests. Whatever you type into those forms.
• Back-in-stock alerts. The email address you give us, held until we notify you that the part is available.
• Failed searches. When a search returns nothing, we log the search term so we know what to stock. The term is stored on its own — it is not linked to you.
• Anti-abuse. IP addresses in a short-lived rate-limit log, to stop form spam.

We do not collect payment card numbers on this site. Card, cash and check payments are taken over the phone or at the counter.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies for Supabase sign-in sessions. If you choose a truck while shopping, we also save the selected truck and, when applicable, the selected fleet-unit identifier in essential cookies. Employee sign-in can set a long-lived, device-specific security cookie so an enrolled browser can be verified and revoked. These cookies are required for the features you choose to use. Your shopping cart is kept in your browser's local storage on your own device and is not sent to us until checkout.

Verifying carriers

If you give us a USDOT number on your application, we store it for account review. Automated FMCSA verification is not currently enabled, so staff may verify it manually.

Who else processes your data

We do not sell your personal information. We use these services to run the site:

• Supabase — database, login, and file storage for uploaded certificates.
• Netlify — website hosting; their servers see your IP address and request logs.
• Resend — sends transactional email (quotes, order confirmations, application updates).
• Google Fonts — our typefaces load from Google's servers, so your IP address reaches Google when a page loads.
• Optional analytics — no optional analytics service is currently enabled.

How long we keep it

Applications, orders and invoices are business records and are kept for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and warranty purposes. Failed-search terms and rate-limit records are operational and short-lived.

Your choices

Email sales1@detroittruckbodyparts.com or call (586) 960-6443 to see what we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will delete what we are not required to keep as a business record. To stop back-in-stock or marketing email, use the unsubscribe link or just tell us.

Children

This is a wholesale site for businesses. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
